About Me
Ahoy! I’m Christina-
I’m a digital and acrylic artist creating peculiar, surreal portraits that explore identity and emotion. Growing up mostly abroad; I was always drawn to the eccentric.
Originally an Art Major, I switched to finance thinking that would help me pave a road to a more secure future. But I was often left feeling empty inside. It was only recently, that I picked up a brush and began creating again November of 2024. For the first… in a long time… I ignited something inside me again.
My work blends bright, expressive colors with distorted anatomy, influenced by Medieval art and surrealism. The long necks are a reflection of a recent diagnosis of a benign growth on my thyroid needing surgery for removal. I create to make people stop, feel, and maybe even feel seen.
Prior to I did photography work for Big Bend Travel Magazine and featured 3 times on their cover and contributor 2019, 2020, and 2023. My Art has been featured at the Albert-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, Missouri, February 2025.
